Room 5 is cosy, well appointed, and has the cutest planted little deck out the back. The motel has plenty of parking and the staff were so friendly and helpful, both on arrival and departure. It's two streets back from the lake, but honestly, it was so quiet and relaxing after staying on the lake - we are converts. We might try for an upstairs view next time, perhaps ... but honestly it didn't matter. Comfy bed, good kitchenette, plenty of room in the bathroom - everything we needed. Town and lake both close by. We will be back!

Everything. Perfect for our family of 5. The second TV on the second room was great for the kids. Staff were lovely. Check in was so fast. Courtyard was great for some outdoor space. All the windows were open on arrival which meant the room was fresh and cool, great on a warm day.

Very good facility, helpful lady when I first arrived. Good size clean room. The huge bathroom and spa bath were great, I didn't use the bath but was very tempted, I normally avoid them due to them looking a bit grotty. In my room you could open a little louvered hatch so you could watch TV in the bath. Very hard to fault.

Great size and comfortable room with air conditioning, which helped as it got warm. Good size kitchenette that was well catered with pots/pans and utensils, along with a decent sized fridge and drawer/cupboard space for storing food and supplies we had for meals. Close to town to walk if needed and also short walk down to the lake front (10 minutes either way).

Outstanding hospitality! Everyone is going the extra mile to make this stay as relaxing, as positive, as special as possible. This was truly remarkable. The rooms were way better than we expected at this price range. The kitchenette had everything we needed, the bathroom was spacious and the bed/livingroom was big well designed. The BBQ and outdoor area was unique. We loved the pretty trees and the awesome grill. 10/10 and 100% recommendation. This was by far the best stay in New Zealand.

We spent my birthday weekend in this place and we loved the place! The kids loved the spa bath and enjoyed it so much. There are lots of beds and we found out there was this folding sofa that can turn to bed as well! Beds are comfortable and room was spacious 😊 The room is clean and they replaced our towels the next day. Overall, it was a wonderful stay for our little family 😀

It was very cosy and warm, the bed was super comfortable the facilities ammenities were accessible there were extra towels and blankets The spa bath was a highlight the shower had amazing pressure it was a nice space to spend our weekend close to town etc

It’s a bit pricey but worth of stay. I love bathtub. The bedroom feels lonely because no furniture but having a toddler with nothing in the room it’s totally advantaged. Clean room no smell definitely will stay again.

Clean, warm, welcoming self-contained room. Reasonably located, close to town and weekend markets. Staff were great, as in we didn't see them except for the timely and professional housekeeping service.
